Thanks for your positive review. I am glad you love the new Montreal office and feel that your colleagues are awesome. From our March 2018 employee poll, 97% of your colleagues feel they are surrounded by bright and talented people at TouchTunes. Wrt "No career evolution" we know we need to work on that, we just kicked off a working team comprised of executives and employees to develop a plan for us to improve here. Stay tuned.

Pros

No one cares if you come in or not Lax dress code

Cons

There is a lack of push for innovation. A lot of the old heads who have been around for a long time are afraid of change and kill all good ideas. Very dramatic folks in this place. There is so much constant gossip it's like high school all over again. Turnover rate is and will remain high. Additionally: Very low moral No 401k match Pointless meetings Terrible music playing in the office Awful music skew (Country)

Thanks for your feedback. It is shame you didn't enjoy your experience at TouchTunes. With regards to your advice, it is my #1 priority to hire awesome people and I think we have done a great job of that since this review was posted more than 2 years ago. We completed our annual anonymous employee poll in March of 2018, and after reviewing the New York Office results, I am very glad that the vast majority of the New York team is having a much better experience with us. A few highlights: -95% of employees said their job was important to accomplishing the mission of the organization -94% said their manager was approachable and available -92% said their job gave them a sense of personal satisfaction -92% said they are always treated with respect while they are at work -87% said that employees are held accountable for achieving goals However, that doesn’t mean we can’t improve. That same poll had only 71% of employees saying that we clearly communicate our strategies and goals, so we have some work to do there. With all that said, overall I feel good about both the team and the work environment we have in the New York office, and TouchTunes overall.

Pros

While music related, you're really getting the opportunity to work in the currency-activated amusement and vending business. The industry is made up of products such as pool tables, dart boards, pinball machines, ATMs and Jukeboxes, which are place and serviced in locations like bars, restaurants, and family entertainment centers. This is comparatively different from companies like Pandora, Spotify and other digital music service providers, with products that can be consumed anywhere. Learn more at www.amoa.com.

Cons

The autonomous nature of a lucrative Jukebox business has created a comfortable and defensive mindset within leadership, plaguing the organization and most importantly a wave of intelligent youth that has lead to turnover.

Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate you providing some additional context on our business. Outside of gambling, we are the largest player in the amusement and vending industry by far. Location-based entertainment businesses like ours are awesome, profitable and digital technology only enhances the business, as opposed to disrupts it. I hear your message of "be more innovative" loud and clear and I am very pleased with our progress in the more than 2 years since you posted this review. Our partnership with Foursquare is a great example of this. We use their technology to provide personalized in-app messages to users when they are in a location with a jukebox (e.g., You like Kendrick Lamar, he is popular in this location, why don't you play a track). It gets a great response from our users and is frequently cited as the most compelling location-triggered messaging in the market today.
