Pros

Benefits are ok and start quickly.

Cons

Company is very unorganized. Hires and allows employs to be unprofessional. Has no loyalty to existing employees and blames it on the "nature of the business".

Pros

It's a job, hire a lot of people, quite a few of the workers are nice, the interview is a lot of fun, there's a few discounts, easy job to do.

Cons

They don't care about their employees, can't use employee discount on diapers or much needed baby supplies, easy to get in trouble at the company, they push stupid questions and a lot of them (at least 6 per person and you have to ask each person if they need batteries, if they have a toy that requires them or not), no tolerance for the workers, very low pay. I gave my 2 weeks to my HR because I was offered a better job elsewhere and was told by the head manager that I could never apply there again because I was unprofessional when I quit. He was very rude.

Pros

You get paid money, which is used for buying things.

Cons

Breaks are only given because they have to be- you can be standing over 10 hours before you get even a 15 minute break. Especially during the holiday season. Most managers won't let you use the bathroom or get a drink of water even after hours straight, leaving the majority of employees dehydrated with medical problems not covered because they do not offer benefits. Complaints about harassment are not taken seriously. You work until the store is clean at night, even if it means you stay until 3am or you lose your job. This goes for people with kids, pregnant people, those with second jobs because TRU will not pay a livable wage in any version of reality, etc. You are held to extremely high standards and ridiculous expectations with no option for bonus. This is why most employees do not care about their job and it's reflected in the service customers get from standard red shirts.
