Pros

When I first started at Toys in 2006, I got a sense that they cared about their team members and customers. It was a great place to work and shop.

Cons

Toys forgot about their teams and customers and everything became about a dollar. They stopped offering competitive wages and paid team members less than was fair. Also, lost focused of engaging their Guest and kept team members bogged down with task and unreasonable deadlines, in turn, the customer service and morale declined.

Pros

Toys R Us provides good compensation for an employer not including annual bonuses. While the employees are wonderful and dedicated and they have your back.

Cons

Not many cons at Toys R Us but the work and life balance can at times be lacking. The investment into the development of their employees could use enhancement as well.
