Pros
Great job for someone who likes to work alone but still interactive with customers every once and awhile.
Cons
In the beginning, I was very lost. My "training" consisted of shadowing another team member (who wasn't even aware that she was going to be training me) for 8 hours. I also had to figure out many things out on my own (i.e. how to set up direct deposit, how to call time off, etc.) Later on, the music got horrible. We used to have top 40 music that was appropriate for children (i.e. One Direction) but now it's this generic/childish pop songs that sound like Toys R Us made themselves. The playlist is only around 4-5 hours long so you will usually hear the same songs twice in one shift. Also, they are not up to date with scheduling. Everything is done by mouth or by paper, which can lead to confusion (which happened to me within my first month). Also, they want you to call dates off at least 3 weeks ahead of time, but they don't give you you're schedule until 5 days before the week starts. Not having an online-based scheduling system makes is even harder when something comes up last minute and you want to potentially switch shifts with someone. Lastly, the employee discount is unsatisfying (it's only 10% off) and doesn't apply to much.
