Working weird hours and not enjoyable

Mismanagement at the store I worked at. The HR person who hired me through a group interview had only been in her position at TRU for 5 days. She had applied as a cashier and was offered the in-store HR position instead. I was verbally offered a higher wage than the standard offer. I refused to sign the contract of employment until the wage on the paper was changed. My first paycheck still had the lower wage. The professionalism of management was non-existent. Managers would constantly belittle each other and cashiers over radios that customers could hear. Management would not schedule cashiers properly and be short on cashiers after the minors would leave at the state law mandated time of 10:30 p.m. Lack of direction every night as to what needed to be stocked, cleaned, reshelved, etc.
