Pros

Let me start by saying I am not writing this review out of emotion. I am reviewing my experience with the company. - First Year commission bonus of 850$ per month - You have to the opportunity to help good people find good jobs to support their family.

Cons

- My biggest complaint is that employees(Not the reps, the workers) are for the most part treated like numbers. I understand its a numbers game but if Tradesmen would spend more time treating an employee with respect and understand then I believe they could actually start providing quality workers. - Management had a negative and victim mindset. Every manager I dealt with saw the glass half empty and it was always somebody else to blame. - Extremely poor training. Computer training and then ride alongs for the first week or two. Then after that you are on your own. - Work hours vary. Depending on walk outs, you could have to wake up at 4 am for a whole week then still have to stay in the office till 5-6. Also Saturday and Sunday walk outs are to be expected, - I could go on and on... Unprofessional environment, commission structure is complicated and not near what they promise, no room for advancement, etc. In short, find somewhere else to grow your career. If Tradesmen is all that is available, then good luck and do your best to stick to your values and work hard to be successful.

Pros

They are great at writing fake reviews! They are real good at firing quality people. They know exactly how to cancel your medical insurance and then promptly notify you 14 days later that your family has been uninsured for two weeks.

Cons

After 12 hour work days, there isn't much time left for your family. Once you start growing your business, your phone will ring during any and all of the other 12 other hours in the day. Every office may be a little different, but my old boss took care of his three favorite reps with leads & if anyone else passed them in sales, he would steal their leads, prospects, clients, referrals, registrations, orders, and even past commissions to distribute as he saw fit. Just don't question his authority or his furious side will shine. Your children have to get sick "outside of business hours."

Pros

Fun work environment, extensive training

Cons

Poor loyalty to field personnel. Burn and turn mentality of field reps. You're a "dime a dozen" to management at Tradesmen. Your success is determined by the quality of field personnel your office hires so oftentimes requires others to hold up their end of the bargain to be achieve higher pay. You will get calls on the weekend and weeknights at all hours and are basically "on call."
