Pros

Paid vacation time, you can literally work and receive in the next year up to 6 weeks paid vacation. Usually you are working year round when most construction workers are laid off. The vacation package and benefit package are very good. Tool purchase program is good.

Cons

They lie a lot about pay raises, and if you get on their bad side, or if the feel you have slighted them you will go to the bottom of the list to be sent to a job. Some of the people who have been promoted from a field job let there heads swell with power.
