Just two Boulder boys playing business..

Pros

Coworkers are active, encouraging, and positive.

Cons

This company is ran by a couple of local boys without any business experience or education, who promote managers based on athletic and brown-nosing ability rather than intelligence or experience. Employees are paid below-average salaries (for both the area and the industry), supposedly justified by flex-hours and group rides - both perks that in fact no longer exist. As they are infamous for suddenly firing people without cause, the corporate culture here promotes information hoarding and keeping your opinions to yourself. Note the timing of the positive reviews below. This is a company that will lie to you, and that will not value you.

Pros

The work atmosphere is great at TrainingPeaks. The leaders focus on the positive and set clear goals that motivate the employees to stay energized and excited about the company objectives and the future prospects for the company. The workplace is very accommodating with a fully stocked break room and a top notch workout facility. The north Boulder location offers great cycling and running trails. I believe TrainingPeaks provides a satisfying and productive work environment. Helping athletes achieve their goals and objectives is very fulfilling.

Cons

No 401K match. No annual Bonuses. No equity or stock available to employees. The open work space can be distracting for developers.

Pros

My coworkers are all incredibly sharp and hard working. We challenge each other on a daily basis. I like being around people who have similar lifestyles and value exercise and knowledge as much as I do. The technology is always evolving and my work is very rewarding.

Cons

There are no annual bonuses or 401k match.
