Pros

Decent benefits package that starts day one.

Cons

Outsourcing front line contact and processing. Lack of flexibility in scheduling Low pay increases once with the company. CEO consistently tells employees how much money the company is making and fails to distribute that increase to.employees. CEO Alan D. Schnitzer has taken a pay increase since 2016 of 12.6 million dollars. Shareholder profit has increased almost 800% in the last 20 years and base employee salaries have only increased by 20%. The company used to have a very customer service and personal accountability mindset which has been replaced with a cost cutting and shareholder profit mindset. This has led to an overall toxic work environment in many ways, including unreasonable metrics, constant push for more to be done by front line employees at a quicker pace, increased employee burn out and turn over, and lack of customer satisfaction.

Pros

Good benefits in terms of pension and 401k

Cons

Not competitive in salary or bonuses Horrible RTO with no flexibility Recently tried to initiate a better RTO that made many employees much happier by giving us 2-days a week in office instead of 3. Then four weeks later they decided to end it with no notice. One of the biggest rug pulls ever for a company.

Pros

Local culture, it’s a decentralized company so each LOB will be different. You can be lucky like I was and land with a great team If you land with a great team and don’t mind heavy workload this is a good place to work, especially for knowledge and experience.

Cons

Pay is below average by a considerable amount. No flexibility on remote work Senior management (SLT) has no clear vision, and does not attend crucial decision making meetings. Or vendor kick offs for their “#1 priority initiative” Priorities are always changing, which causes huge problems with our planning and deliverables. Too many meetings to make simple decisions Meetings meetings meetings
