      Pros

      I have been at TriNet for four years. Overall it has been a tremendous ride. In that time the company has gone public and quadrupled in size. With that has been many opportunities for growth and advancement which I have experienced and witnessed. Their is a great need for the services and the overall market is very under-penetrated. The benefits are above average for what I have seen in the industry. They pay 90% of family and individual, 401K match and generous PTO.

      Cons

      With the growth comes change. This change is not always easy to adapt. Those that embrace and run to the change do best.

      Good vision.. challenging internal struggle

      Pros

      I have worked as a Professional Employer Consultant at TriNet (sales) for the past year and have seen a great vision laid out for the growth of the company. It is very aggressive, but attainable with a concerted effort of the entire company. Executive Management team is strong.

      Cons

      The back office underwriting process and allowances are very conservative and do not match up in anyway with the aggressive growth goal of the company. More business is being turned away than ever as we are trying to quadruple in customer market share in the next few years. Calculated risks are necessary sometimes and this group does not follow that strategy.

      Pros

      As a company the benefits and perks are very good. CEO and executive staff are very visible and provide regular corporate updates. I am compensated well for what I do and am appreciated. My division directors have risen up the ranks and know the challenges of my job having once upon a time been in my role which for me is a plus. My division has a very collaborative and support culture. The people are great. They are supportive in sharing information and best practices and are a great group of people. My supervisor is the best and I have a lot of respect for her as my supervisor and as a person. My division provides flexible workplace practices and great resources to be successful in my role. I really enjoy working on this team.

      Cons

      This company and my role are not for someone looking for an easy job. The company and the division set the bar high and the work is very demanding. It can be a challenge to get everything done and to the depth that you would like to see it completed.
