Pros

I love my coworkers and manager. The people I work with everyday are great. TriNet Benefits, especially medical, are very rich. TriNet pays for a good portion of them for the colleague and family.

Cons

The executive & senior leadership team lack direction. We're a very top-heavy company with too many directors and VPs. Maybe it would be ok if we had automation to do the work, but we don't. We rely on manual processing, which requires people. So, like most companies, we look for ways to save and it's often at the expense of the teams that do the work. We could truly unburden ourselves by getting rid of at least half of the VPs and Directors and hire people that automate our processes.

Pros

If you have a book a brokers, you're only worry will be getting your deals qualified by our underwriting process (yes, even the most perfect looking companies get disqualified). If you're coming into this with no channel partners, especially Health Insurance brokers, you'll be grinding nonstop until you build a book of partners to refer you business (cold calling, hosting events). FYI: This is NOT HRTech. We're selling benefits. Pure and simple. So please don't take this job thinking you're selling SaaS. You will need to learn how to speak and partner with Health Insurance brokers.

Cons

There should be heavier emphasis on partnership development rather than heavy cold calling to businesses directly.
