Pros

Benefits, tuition reimbursement, people. Lots of opportunity to get involved with the company or your community.

Cons

Corporate world. There are instances where you have to go through several departments and channels for an answer. Constant changes in company structure are not always communicated well.

Thank you for your well-considered input here. This definitely falls into the category of “constructive criticism” and as such, we have shared it with management as a learning opportunity. Thank you again.

While brief, your comments do speak volumes. Your “Pros” are very true and we thank you for pointing them out, but your “Cons” do deserve a response. Yes, growth can be difficult, but without it we cannot be the company our clients and employees expect us to be. And, we are consistently developing additional training and development opportunities to help our colleagues advance, and in fact we have an entire team dedicated to just that. As always, specific concerns can be taken up with your managers and your dedicated Human Resources Business Partner. We hope you will take advantage of those opportunities as best you can.

Pros

Some people really like working for this company. It is a call center environment and you are expected to cold call businesses and set appointments for the field reps. If you have experience working in a call center sales, dialing out 100x per day then this place is for you.

Cons

They expect you to make at least 100 calls per day. Cold calls. Setting up appointments with the end game of selling insurance. Most if not all of the businesses that you will call want absolutely nothing to do with you. The leads they give you are dead and there are not enough leads to go around. Their sales force is set up terribly and they do not train you on it. You are paid hourly and your commission is based on the successful call that you set up with the field rep. If you are not able to keep up pace with the high performers they will let you go and find others who can.

We regret that you did not have a positive experience at TriNet. And we agree with you, cold calling is very challenging and certainly not for everyone. Nevertheless, those duties are clearly part of any inside sales position and are an important part of any successful sales strategy.
