Pros

Flexible schedule and getting time off is easy

Cons

Management doesn't show empathy for employees, Micromanage everything. They will try to send you to areas that are not within your normal route. They also don't pay enough for gas reimbursement. Hr doesn't talk to the employees with respect. there are times where you question your sense of belonging.

Pros

No stress environment, no micro-management, very flexible scheduling, manager works same duties as you, late-model company vehicle with satellite radio, carplay and android auto, fuel card, current labor market competitive pay, stop bonuses per extra stop made in a shift, new DR imaging equipment, company issued iPhone, overtime available almost anytime you want to work it, on-call time is currently minimized

Cons

Current staffing levels are pretty low everywhere and techs have been asked to travel out of their home coverage area on occasion due to this. Also, if you dislike driving this is probably not for you, more than half of your daily shift will be spent driving. Also, on-call time. Right now it's not an issue because it has been put on hold in my area due to staffing, but overnight and weekend on-call time can really be a big pain. The suspension of on-call has improved my life so much it's insane.

Pros

The enjoyment of not being tied down in one place for 8-12 hours and being able to be on your own and work at your own pace is the best part of this job. And also the connection you develop with your patients is very important. Yes it can be stressful at times and overwhelming but if you love drawing blood and need more experience this is the job.But with this job you can start early or start at your schedule time it is very flexible.

Cons

Remember that no job is going to be perfect or smooth. Yes you May work long hours but that’s up to you. To say what you can do or not do. Ok true communication could be better. There are things that need a little work but what job doesn’t.
