Pros

Super open, 'family oriented' vibe. I work for the MD office so I can't speak for other offices, yet I have met many people from other offices who will go above and beyond to help you as long as you put in the work. Also we provide an amazing service that I wish I could provide to my friends and family from back home in NC.

Cons

Straight commission. Must be flexible (adaptable) and trust in what you're doing - which could also be seen as a pro.

Pros

The colleagues and peers at this company are generally talented, collaborative, and supportive, which makes the day-to-day work with the team enjoyable.

Cons

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the technology leadership. The Chief Information Officer consistently demonstrates a lack of respect toward employees, creating an environment where people feel undervalued and demeaned. Communication is often dismissive, and leadership behavior undermines morale rather than motivating teams. I would strongly caution anyone considering a technology role here to look beyond compensation. No salary or title is worth sacrificing personal dignity and self-respect. A respectful culture starts at the top, and in this case, it is clearly lacking.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—we appreciate your thoughtful and candid feedback. We’re glad to hear that you had a positive experience working alongside your colleagues and found the team to be collaborative and supportive. That kind of environment is something we value and strive to maintain across the organization. At the same time, we are very concerned by the feedback you’ve shared regarding leadership within the technology organization. A culture of respect, professionalism, and accountability is essential, and the experience you’ve described does not reflect the standards we expect. Leadership sets the tone, and it’s critical that all employees feel valued, heard, and treated with dignity. Your feedback reinforces the importance of strong, respectful leadership at every level, and it will be taken seriously as we continue evaluating and improving our workplace culture. Thank you again for sharing your perspective—it’s an important part of helping us move forward.

Pros

- Great management at manager/director level - Strong collaboration on high-stakes projects

Cons

- CIO made a habit out of screaming and embarrassing employees publicly - No respect for life outside of work - Poor compensation for level of work and hours put in - Constant changing of processes led to several issues that were then blamed on employees

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback—we appreciate your openness. We’re glad to hear that you had a positive experience working with your direct management and that there was strong collaboration on important projects. Those are meaningful aspects of the workplace that we aim to foster across all levels of the organization. At the same time, we are very concerned by the issues you’ve raised regarding leadership behavior, respect in the workplace, and work-life balance. Creating a professional environment where employees feel respected and supported is essential, and the behaviors you’ve described do not align with the standards we strive to uphold. Your feedback also highlights the need for greater consistency in processes and clearer accountability when changes are implemented. We take concerns like these seriously, and input like yours is critical in helping us identify where improvement is needed at all levels of leadership. Thank you again for sharing your experience—it plays an important role in helping us work toward a more respectful and supportive workplace.
