Pros

Flexible..good environment fast paced but friendly.

Cons

The mgmt and senior dev team was comprised of folks not able to provide any clear directions. They hired consulting companies that could not help..but things have improved since I left. All those folks are gone as well.

Growth, Opportunity and Great People

Pros

I worked for a company that Trintech acquired. And, the transition was scary at times. But, the combined company is better, I ended up with increased responsibility and I love my job. Trintech is growing and that means there is opportunity for individuals to advance. It also means there is a lot of meaningful work and a lot of change. That combination isn’t for everyone. What makes it really special for me is that we’ve got a dedicated leadership team that drives accomplishment, equips you for your work and also supports you through obstacles. In addition, we have an organization full of smart, inquisitive and engaged people that make my everyday work experience better. From nerf guns to ping pong to free fruit Fridays, these people make Trintech a fun place to work, too.

Cons

In a company that is growing, there are programs that may not be fully set up, standardized and streamlined. But, the ones I can think of that we need(corporate communication, employee on-boarding, training and career paths) are all identified and somewhere in that process.

Pros

Great to work there at first but once the layers are uncovered, the mess is revealed.

Cons

Leadership does not know how to deliver software. Leadership plays to favorites.

Advice to any Trintecher currently employed. If you have a leader that is playing favorites please come speak to HR in confidence with your examples. We cannot support and build an environment of equity, equality and accountability if we are not aware of the issues. Leaders tend to rely on people they can count on when there are tough problems to solve or quick deadlines and those individuals who come through consistently tend to get recognized more by leaders, I would not call that favoritism. In our fast growing company everyone has the equivalent opportunity to step up and deliver their excellence on the team. However, I would also recognize that all employees are not created equal and sometimes it’s easier to point the finger and label things versus some serious self-reflection on why things are the way they are. HR is here to hold everyone accountable, so if there is favoritism we’ll address it and if you need to be held accountable to your part in the equation we’ll let you know that as well. Thank You.
