Pros

Not a company I would recommend. The new HR is destroying what culture we had left.

Cons

Culture. Leadership. Bias. Lack of Diversity. No real LGBT.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about our culture. Our goal is to create a positive, inclusive work environment for all Trintechers, and we need all Trintechers to take an active role in helping to achieve that goal. We invite you to reach out to HR, your manager, or another leader to share your specific concerns so that they can be addressed directly. Trintech HR From our CHRO, Monna Nevils- As Chief HR Officer in my first 30 days with Trintech, I haven’t made any changes—so the new HR is the same as the old HR. I’ve actually just completed onboarding. As someone who has a long, successful track record across industries in workplace culture, employee engagement and inclusive work environments, I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you about these matters. My experience as a new Trintecher has been very positive, welcoming and supportive, and it’s my desire that every Trintecher experience that kind of support. My door is open.

Great Until They No Longer Need You

Pros

The team members you work alongside are great and willing to help out however they can.

Cons

Management dangles a carrot for far too long while moving the goalposts. And once they decide you're no longer needed they have no issue laying you off. My manager sat on the call clearly reading other things and responding to messages with their camera on while the HR rep did all of the talking regarding my severance. Find a company that won't cut you on a whim.

No place for smart developers with ambition.

Pros

You get a stable salary. You won't have to work very hard.

Cons

There is very little chance of doing new development. It's mainly a maintenance shop. Everyone seems burnt out and apathetic. Engineering staff are second-class citizens.

Two years ago, we pushed the accelerator on product development. As a result, we doubled the size of our engineering teams and we continue to see a lot of opportunity ahead! We carved out resources to focus on providing existing customers with a better experience (maintenance) without "new" development impacting resourcing. It isn't easy to ask folks to do both without one being sacrificed, often at the discretion of the developer's desires. We get the reviewer's point; we do understand that designers like to work on different things. We are recombining all engineering resources into feature/function scrum teams while also ensuring that the customers who trust us with their continued business realize a better experience with every release. In preparation for this move, we have also been investing in our teams. This year we have conducted dedicated onsite training in Angular, Azure Services, Power BI and advanced .NET coding to facilitate development and growth along with internal mobility. We will continue to make these investments and to hold our managers accountable for employee development. We value the feedback Trintechers provide and look to incorporate their voice in continuous organizational improvement strategy. We also want to thank those engineers who have dedicated the time and work into making this transition possible, and who go above and beyond every day.
