Pros

Best in class sales enablement tools; Support from upper management; Start-Up environment; Ability to make an impact from day one

Cons

If you are not a self-starter or problem solver, then this job is not for you. If you don't feel like pulling additional responsibilities while we continue to grow, this job isn't for you.

Pros

Trintech is an exciting place to work. As an organization, it is growing rapidly but is still a small enough size where one individual can make a huge difference! I see it every day. Enthusiasm, commitment, and innovation are everywhere and are contagious. The company recently implemented a policy of Open Time Off which removes the limits on PTO for all employees and encourages everyone to recharge their batteries or take personal time as needed. It is a fun culture that recognizes that employees are more productive when they can play hard as well as work hard. At one location, they recently had a Cornhole tournament in the office that spanned over several days with a large number of teams participating. The rapid growth means that there are new and interesting challenges daily.

Cons

Some growing pains with processes as Trintech scales for the future and to meet the needs of servicing Fortune 100 customers.

Trintech no longer values its developers.

Pros

Leadership does care about development Free snacks

Cons

So we are moving offices and are out of money for the move. The developers have to move all of their own desks, monitors, then set them up, then come back and clean furniture and floors. The best part we are still expected to get our work done after work. Good news is the sales group just went the Bahamas for a week to celebrate. No focus on tech debt as PM runs everything.

Trintech Response

It is a great surprise to see this review, especially in the context of this exciting week as we move the R&D team into newly renovated and expanded space to accommodate our growth. Without question, Trintech highly values its developer talent! They are at the heart of this company and the software solutions that we provide to our customers. In the words of our Vice President of Engineering, "The investment we are making by doubling our space and growing our development team should demonstrate how strongly committed we are to developers at Trintech." The reviewer accurately states “Leadership does care about development” and that is true for not just R&D management, but also Trintech’s leadership. This is a place where you want to come to work, and not just because we provide free snacks. This is a smart, fun and ambitious team that works hard and plays hard. It is always a challenge to get work accomplished during an internal office move within the same building, and while some people strongly prefer to move and set up their own personal space & equipment (especially a development work space!) we recognize and accept that others may have another view. My expectation is that when the move is complete, this reviewer will take full advantage of and enjoyment from the benefits and perks of R&D's new home.
