Pros

They pay competitively. Area Leaders are good, except for a couple.

Cons

Executive leadership, regional level and above are EXTREMELY manipulative and ONLY care about what a report says. Their slogan is they lead with Care, but they really do NOT care about the teammates that work for them. Constant threats to teammates if certain benchmarks aren't achieved. No collaboration, very much a do it or else attitude from leadership. You are only as good as your current month, you could be a consistent performer, but miss a monthly target or some daily widget count and you are getting calls about your job being in jeopardy. I could go on, but you get it.

Pros

I have a very good manager and good teammates

Cons

Since the merger of "equals", the SunTrust way has prevailed. There is no more of the BB&T culture left. Senior management, while talking about valuing teammates, caring about employees has done everything to run off seasoned, experienced workers, leaving new "green" employees who they have drank the Kool-Aid.

Pros

Salary, benefits, vacation time off

Cons

They don’t care about your mental well being. As someone who was employee there for years and withstood so much BS, it wasn’t worth it. The managers are so disrespectful and when you complain to HR, nothing is done. My manager was so abusive of her power. Truist pushes ethical and moral values but don’t put it into action when it comes to situations.
