Pros

The Team! People here are deeply empathetic and committed to creating a system that works for all parties involved: the clients, the clinicians, and the broader community Massive development opportunities. We're a small organization trying to tackle big problems, which means people at all levels of experience get to take on significant projects and leadership roles Chance to build something that matters. We're not building an app that wastes time and shows you adds; we're building a more effective and more empathetic mental health care system

Cons

Small team means that everyone wears lots of hats, which can be overwhelming. Team members need to proactively seek support when needed, as we don't have robust development programs yet.

Pros

-exceptional people: project work will range from working with engineers to clinical psychologists. Folks are intelligent, conscientious, and curious. -individual growth: on most teams if you do well, there are outsized opportunities to make an impact and build new skills -mission: folks here really care about our mission and care about building a better mental health system -high degree of belonging: though early, we're trying to be forward in investing in diversity & inclusion -autonomy: there's a lot of autonomy in terms of things like working hours, working styles, etc.

Cons

-growth pains: some of what you might expect for a Series A start-up trying to scale a largely brick & mortar business. i.e.: changing priorities, waves of urgent work. One days you might be in charge of ordering team lunches and the next day you're working on a company-wide strategy project -very little structure, probably not the right environment for those wanting a lot of guidance or predictive career growth -healthcare as an industry and start-ups in general can be hard (i.e. - benefits are not going to be as competitive to larger systems and/or tech companies)

Pros

- the people! One of the biggest pros is by far the community that we've co-created as an organization. The clinicians here are client centered, diverse, and incredibly smart people that I continue to learn from everyday. - consultation friendly - weekly consultation meeting AND there is a very open door culture around consultation and support. I probably consult with another clinician ad-hoc at least once a week - Matching - because of the matching system, the majority of my panel are clients that are a REALLY good fit for my clinical expertise and interests. - salaried position - it's nice not to have to worry about getting clients! - support- its great to have a care coordination team that handles billing and insurance - There is a big emphasis on feedback - leadership is constantly soliciting opinions about what could be improved upon - opportunities for growth - because we are growing, there are usually leadership opportunities every few months!

Cons

- Things are changing a lot (and often quickly!!) so its sometimes hard to keep up - Benefits are good relative to other large systems, but could be better
