If you don’t follow their rules, you won’t last long. Everything about Usaa is ancient. It is a male dominated company that puts a few minorities in positions of “power” only to hide the reality of what is really going on. When I began to challenge the way things were done, practices that were incorrect, I was told that I was in no place of authority or education to do so, even though I was hired to do so. You are trapped in a compound that takes at least 15 min to exit, so stepping out for a quick drs appt won’t happen easily. Unless you bring lunch you are hurdled into 4 cafeterias, with food that is less than healthy. I was in a management position and was asked to observe and report anyone not glued to their monitors. Pay is below the industry average and a bonus that is getting lower each year. No opportunity for advancement and of there is be prepared to work the worst schedule available.
