It's going to be challenging, but it's going to be worth it!
Pros
So if you are the glass half empty type and read the cons first, don't worry this place has plenty of upside. This company will give the opportunity to explore all options when in comes to you defining your career path, whether that is in sales or in operations you'll be supported fully (You'll notice that career opportunities is the only category one not rated at 5 stars, reason being you may have to relocate to pursue your career at times). The compensation is going to be whatever you make it, if you're comfortable putting in the time and effort needed to be towards the top, you are going to reap the rewards. Companies always try to lure talent in with claims of those six figure salaries, but UniFirst is one of those places, if you are willing to put in the work. The work life balance is incredible, and from top to bottom the company knows that family comes first. The culture is great, the team around you is always going to push you to be better, and challenge you from day one.
Cons
Remember this is a corporate sales position, and whether you are selling uniforms at UniFirst or widgets anywhere else there are going to be challenges. There are going to be periods of extreme highs and extreme lows, sales in general is a roller coaster. Just remember it's never as bad, or as good as you think it is. There are about 100 different reasons a prospect can say no, and a vast majority you will have no control over, but the ones you can control will ultimately have the biggest impact. Too often people come into this role that don't necessarily want to put in the amount of effort this role is going to take to be successful. I've been with this company for several years now, and I have worked along many people, most of which are no longer here.
