Pros

UniFirst gives you an open check as a RSR, you can fill in the blanks on how much you want to earn during Power Routes, and Sales leads.

Cons

To many HOURS!!!!!! No home life Mon through Friday, too many National accounts were you work hard and make pennies per stop, while Corp looks at as a whole when it comes to there bottom dollar.

Pros

As a route sales rep its awesome to be able to make your own schedule (as long as you leave by gate time) and take care of your customers the way you want to. Working in Texas with the oilfield and all their FR garments doesn't hurt either. Excellent pay with the commission rate.

Cons

Can be super long hours, there is a lot of paperwork involved.

Pros

Great co-workers within service minus management. Interactions with customers. There is not many pros in this company except that it's a job!

Cons

If I wasn't desperate to provide for my family I wouldn't be here. I have had 6 so called promotions started from unloader/warehouse worker, DSS which is a "supervisor" position where you make less than everyone in the company, to being thrown into to a route with just these words of wisdom "don't crash!" And "good luck". No training what so ever! To then being "promoted" to a "COMMISSION" route which by the way wasn't. Worked about 14 hr days no OT not even a thank you for busting your hump! Then taking the DSS position to now becoming an RSR to a the 2nd highest paid route...well not only have I been lied to again, but now I have been cheated out of money that is owed to me and management is fully aware and there's no sense of urgency to get this squared away. That's not even half the story! Thanx guys! I'm glad to be here getting taking advantage of. Oh did I mention you work ridiculous hours and not compensated for it!
