The staff was great, the patients were wonderful, and management was flexible.
Cons
The only issue I had was that our manager was so out of touch from floor work - they didn't know how to use Epic to chart or communicate via Ascom phones.

Liked management and most coworkers Great position for students Pay differential for PM and weekends, overtime, bonus for double shifts, picking up shifts last minute Flexible scheduling - as long as someone comes in, management is happy Latest shift ends at 7:30 pm Time and a half plus free festive meal when working holidays

Will be verbally harassed by patients & staff occasionally Tension between kitchen staff and nutrition staff Room for improvement to make some processes more efficient

. Coworkers are there for the right reasons . Most charge nurses are great .benefits are awesome

Love my coworkers and decent staffing rations on my unit
Cons
Do not value tenured employees. Entry level RNs all got a large salary increase that wasn’t also implemented for any other staff. Huge disatisfier to make .50 cents more than a new grade after working 5 years, precepting, certifications, being charge, etc
