Pros

1-2 years ago (the dark ages) this company use to be really fun to be at. We would have HH, the culture was outgoing and made you feel welcomed. Free snacks is always a plus

Cons

Promotions are based on how much someone “likes” you as a person rather than tenor and merit. It is very much like high school, ran by people who worked with each other at other companies. I think they offered a lot of incentives in the beginning and made it fun to reel bodies in but now everyone is leaving because they realized they’ve been duped. It’s sad that leadership or the big wigs in our SF office can’t see how miserable their employees are but to to be honest I don’t think they care. I would not recommend applying here no matter how good the “perks” sound. Also, all the positive reviews are left by HR. If the rating of this company truly reflected the REAL reviews it would probably be at two stars.

Pros

-Tons of support in getting up to speed doing the job with weekly coaching sessions with supervisors - Pay is great and includes a 20% monthly bonus based on very attainable goals - I cannot say enough good things about all the people that lead the Loan Servicing & Collections team from the team leads, to the supervisors, all are excellent, fair people who work hard to help you succeed - In most situations, you are empowered to actually be helpful in addressing customer's needs rather than simply stating policy at them. - Coworkers are great and it is a work-hard play-hard atmosphere -TONS of free stuff from free food to all kinds of swag, it is a fun place - Private break rooms

Cons

-A little bit of micromanagement but it is not too invasive -The company takes its ethical responsibilities very seriously, which means very strict rules regarding customer verification before giving out information, which can occasionally be frustrating. -Quality Assurance reviews are abnormally strict -Deferment request process is a work in process

DO NOT DO IT!

Pros

nothing. literally nothing. nada. zip. zilch.

Cons

Where do I even start? They hire WAY too many employees; people will be sitting around doing nothing for 7 hours out of the day. For every new employee they hire, another one quits or gets fired. The turnover rate is insane. Not only that, but they hire total losers here. I’m surprised they don’t drug test people considering the incidents that happened here involving drugs and alcohol with employees at work. Just shows the type of lowlifes they hire. The favoritism is so obvious it’s sad. If you are friends with upper management, they will go above and beyond for you as far as promotions go. There would be someone with more experience and talent than you but if you are friends with management, they will give you the job over the person who actually deserves it. They tell us if we do A, B and C that we will get a raise and then they never give it to us. They would rather spend all that extra money towards something more important, like having a break room stocked with snacks that no one eats. They try to show that they “care” about their employees by providing us with snacks, food, happy hour events, etc. but in reality they don’t even know your name let alone care about how you feel at work. You can walk past someone in the hallway and say “hi” and they won’t even look at you in the face let alone respond to you. They get away with anything around here. If you want to work for a company that actually cares about their employees and values their opinions, my advice to you is to keep looking!
