Pros

The people here are nearly all passionate about what they do, and learning how to be the best they can be within that role. UserTesting is fast-paced work environment, but the culture and company benefits foster a positive work+life balance. What might be best about working at UserTesting is the level of autonomy and respect that is given to employees once they have been fully onboarded and proven they can do quality work. Hard work and demonstrations of intelligence do not go unnoticed here. On another note, I've been able to make contacts at a large amount of other companies by virtue of working as a consultant here.

Cons

We're not quite to the point of being a large, have-every-benefit-imaginable sort of company. That said, this isn't a huge drawback, just don't expect to liken our lunch room to those at Google and Facebook. In addition, the pay is a bit of a trade-off considering the same role (UX Researcher) at other companies is paid significantly more than those at UserTesting. However, this comes along with the opportunity to work with a massive amount of different projects, methodologies, and companies, so it seems to be worth it.

Pros

UserTesting has a great culture- the people are nice, fun, friendly and everyone is very willing to help each other out. There are typical startup perks like free lunches, booze, snacks and casual attire. The product itself is innovative with not a lot of direct competition. From a selling standpoint, the job stays interesting because the product is versatile across many different industries so you are always talking to different companies in different spaces.

Cons

-office is far from bart stops -disorganization (salesforce needs to be cleaned up, people have been switched to different teams, quality of leads)

Pros

This was a company I accidentally stumbled upon while applying for jobs. I was looking for a place that had a great culture, supportive and transparent management, and an opportunity to advance upon merit. This is the place. I love the outlook of the company, it is extremely positive. Definitely the next AirBnB or Uber in its own space. All of the upper management that I've come across is supportive and transparent. They truly want to put everyone in a position to succeed and you can tell that this company is going places!

Cons

There is LOTS of change always going on. Be prepared for that - you have to be able to keep up.
