Pros

Had some great coworkers, insurance was really good

Cons

Did not care about employee needs, did not prioritize the children just the money, had people on staff who should have never been around kids that got to keep their jobs and get promotions. Tried to report a sexual harassment case and was told it wasn't their problem

Pros

- Clinicians, clinical and paramedical staff are all great and wonderful. - Care provided to patients is incredibly thorough with a 360-degree holistic approach! - The ER is great, with a designated trauma bay, acute care and fast-track zones. - Great benefits, with thorough insurance coverage and EAP perks such as employee wellness initiatives.

Cons

- Employees with higher qualifications are repressed and written up for genuine enthusiasm at their job. - Super nice and professional manager and program coordinator, but excessive workplace politics (Co-workers are intimidated by the supervisor, who is judgemental and purposefully writes up certain employees more than others). - Poor transparency and abrupt termination if a qualified employee does not fit in with supervisor. - The termination from manager was in the middle of work shift, employee taken out of shift by supervisor and brought to the manager's office. Badge was taken away on the spot, with no opportunity to return to shift or close things up in the ED later. On the way to the manager's office right before the termination, the supervisor discussed future vacation schedules and provided the employee positive feedback from ED staff about job performance till date, creating a false illusion of what was going to happen (instead of being honest and upfront, which would have have allowed for future job planning and more appreciated). - Certain workplace practices were incredibly shady and need more investigation and review.

Pros

Stable job with good benefits. Affordable health insurance and a 401K.

Cons

Difficult to increase your pay rate due to arbitrary HR restrictions. Forces employees to jump around departments so they can increase their pay rate. No upward mobility.
