Pros

I do not have any pros at this time.

Cons

VIPKID is intentional in giving newer, “cheaper” teachers more bookings while phasing out veteran teachers who were invested and committed to this company. They are giving company-wide pay cuts to teachers, while raising prices per class to students and families.

Pros

You have the flexibility to choose your schedule during the times they provide for you, you get to meet students and families across the globe, you get to enrich the lives of young students.

Cons

There is little to no support from the company. VIPKID spends a lot of time and money investing in unnecessary classroom features (like stickers and beauty filters for teachers) but no longer offers raises for their teachers. There are zero benefits or opportunities to further your success with the company. The hours are generally VERY early in the morning, the lack of sleep is difficult to maintain for long periods of time.
