This is coming from a 5-star teacher. I had an IT issue at the end of a class. It was obvious my internet crashed because I left class without saying good bye. But it was after 25 minutes so it was all good. I had to wait for my internet to come back on and for my modem to restart. I contacted them through the app and told them what was happening and they canceled the class but counted it as a no show. They later said ITs can only happen if you are already in class. So my computer and internet are supposed to know this and only crash when Im in class. It makes no sense. Second. Even though I have 5 stars and my students love me, there have been times when I have had issues with parents and they act like parents are gods. They will throw teachers under the bus. New teachers run. Don't apply.

The onboarding process is misleading. I got several calls from recruiting office to join the company after passing the demo lesson. They were encouraging me to take next steps. I rushed and prepared for mock interviews. They told me that it’s ok to take the mock class many times until you pass. After my second try I didn’t receive my results. I inquired about my results and was told that I was no longer in the onboarding process. I received no specific feedback or score. Advice to future teachers: unless you are depararte don’t waste your time in this company. The process is misleading and they harass you to join only to disqualify you.
