Pros

Most of the people I work with are awesome and the work we do is valuable. Since Covid, remote working is now the norm, which is nice as it saves employees time & resources in commuting, and helps to spare the environment a little.

Cons

Management in some areas is terrible, resulting in toxic working environments, with little to no trust, where employees are treated like children instead of skilled professionals. Very little autonomy or empowerment. Technology is extremely antiquated and the backlog of tech debt is astonishing, which severely limits the company's ability to operate efficiently and be competitive. Change is laborious and very slow to be implemented. So much potential and opportunities are lost as a result of the company's inability to recognize the need for changes and then act on making them happen. Pay is well below industry norms. Quality of the employment benefits declines every year. Healthcare benefits get more expensive every year, with no added value. Little to no career advancement opportunities for most employees.

Pros

Consistent workload, never bored, consistent type of work in general day-to-day except for nuances see also Cons. They hire often and many. Really good health insurance, dental, and of course vision insurance. Most supervisors are very friendly. The campus was nice.

Cons

When certain instances that are new, you are still being timed and have to meet metrics even when researching the answers to a problem or question, even if asking for help the time used is going to affect you negatively. Sense of safety is given but at any time they will use your shortcomings against you when you don't expect it or to their own advantage, i.e: to not give you a raise or job promotion, etc. You can be here for years and not get more than a few cents raise in wages. Forget about bathroom breaks. You are chained to the desk if you work in this call-center. All the departments operate on metrics you use meet or get written up for it. If your phone call isn't ended within 4 minutes or less not exaggerating, you will hear about it, eventually sooner or later. In trying to provide customer service you must also cut people off or you won't meet your metrics. Almost sweatshop like but taking phone calls. Honestly. Unless you love this kind of work, I suggest looking elsewhere, or use this as a temporary job, not for long-term. They do not value their employees and will get rid of employees in high positions or with more years, 2020 proved that true, while newbies were kept over many seasoned employees from several departments. Don't fall for their friendliness, it will not help your career goals, they just need you to suit their needs, no growth or career path availability even though they say they offer it, you cannot grow within the company.
