      Pros

      Great people within the organization, and can be a very exciting and fun work environment.

      Cons

      Terrible communication and a very decentralized approach. Company is finally emerging from a merger that has been in process for the last two years. it feels like the company is in scramble mode and doesn't truly value its associates. This used to be a great place to work but I'm afraid that it isn't anymore. I used to gladly try to bring friends and associates to work for this company and now I would tell them to wait until things change before considering Vallen.

      Pros

      Broad product line to sell.

      Cons

      Constantly in change, without a strong communication of the end game strategy to the organization! Consolidation an ever occurring scenario, however, management tends to pick off a few employees at a time instead of one mass firing. President of company rules like a dictator, although, I believe she thinks she is.

      Pros

      The benefits are good and there are lots nice people to work with who are always willing to help. This is a great place to work to learn the basics of distribution or to start ones career.

      Cons

      There is favoritism within upper management, therefore there is no room for growth or promotion, no career path. Also, there is no public acknowledgment or award. There is terrible communication and sense of community throughout the entire organization.
