Pros

Flexible PTO, if your manager is nice and approves it.

Cons

No organized HR systems: Payroll, benefits, tax withholding are all a mess with no recourse or way to escalate. HR for North America was shifted to a South American director to save money. Constant layoffs and pressure to shift US positions to South America for better rates. Disregard for clients or our products if they're not a big flashy logo. Leadership regularly gaslights employees into thinking that they're not working hard enough which leads to layoffs; really Valtech's prices are too high. Leadership is too greedy. I got the feeling they want to just gut the company and sell it to make some money back for investors, after acquiring and ruining many small companies in the process.

If you are acquired, start looking for a new job

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Their internal technology is very lacking, and their internal operations are a complete mess. I was part of one of their numerous acquisitions in order to try and increase revenue. Leadership wasn't just dishonest, they straight out lied during the process. Saying very few layoffs, very few things would change, and people were wanted. Lies and lies and lies, from everyone in leadership, very disappointing to say the least. Valtech is also outsourcing a lot of their us based positions to cheaper resources abroad, so if you are a us based employee, be aware. My company that was acquired laid off too many people to count. Valtech purchased companies, purges the employees and takes the clients. If you are part of an acquisition, start looking for a new job. Immediately.
