Pros

Benefits are wonderful. Health Insurance, 401K, tuition assistance, opportunities for movement and great reputation. Great patient ratios and encourage family centered care.

Cons

Some units require years to get on dayshift due to low employee turn over and the pay is a little lower than other area hospitals.

Pros

Vanderbilt offers nice benefits and has sufficient career support for trainees.

Cons

The salary does not equal the personal sacrifices. I often feel over-worked and under-paid.
