No growth opportunities

Pros

Great WLB, decent pay, great coworkers and culture.

Cons

Zero growth opportunities. I felt like my skills and experience went unnoticed, unused and undervalued. Any time I wanted to to take on an extra project for growth I was stifled, while people with lesser skills and knowledge were promoted. It’s more about who you know. The icing on the cake was when a reorg was done and more responsibilities were given that would have been part of a promotion, but now was just part of my current role.

Pros

A great place to start a career, offering strong learning resources, free training tools, and excellent 401(k) benefits.

Cons

The salary is too low compared to industry standards, and overall employee compensation could be significantly improved.

Pros

Good experience that is transferable within finance, you attain three financial licenses that are also valuable in the industry. Doesn't outweigh the cons. Best advantage is using it as stepping stool for experience in the industry.

Cons

Very overworked, and massively micromanaged by systems. The software you work with are old and have many bugs, causes headaches for you and clients who get frustrated with you. Management doesn't care about burn out and hid the fact that its a call center role. Pay was really poor for the industry.
