Horrible Training

Pros

.Great travel for single people and decent pay

Cons

Only on job training with existing projects that is extremely limited. Talk and make decisions about you behind your back. Not enough time to get acclimated to speed and proficiency. Lie about what tools you need. Slow service to get answers when you while in field and the first to burn you as tech while office blames you. Some of the coordinators and project personal have attitude's with the field tech's.

Pros

They are great at getting the job done and they do supply the tools needed to complete your tasks.

Cons

Not a good place to be a field employee. The way that the traveling technicians are paid is ruthless. Field employees are constantly blamed for middle management mistakes. No one in the company is paid overtime.

Pros

If you work hard, and consistently, you can do well. I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of incredible people throughout my time at Velociti (customers, colleagues, and supervisors).

Cons

Turnover happens often due to employee burnout and lack of support for account/project teams. The office hours are 8am-5pm but working hours can increase dramatically depending on the business need. You are expected to be on call whenever needed. Taking PTO can be very difficult due to staffing shortages and a lack of coverage. Any issue that arises when you're absent could impact you financially. Unless you are specific type of person (beer drinking, golf playing, fraternity brother), you will not ever move up farther than middle management at Velociti.
