Pros

The families are wonderful to work with. The children are amazing, I feel as though I learned something every session as well asassisting the clients learn as well. This company also absolutely encouraged furthering your education. For me, this meant a great deal.

Cons

Very little open communication with immediate supervisor. I would ask repeatedly if I needed to imporve or if something needed to be tweaked and the answer was always, everything is fine. In the end it wasn't and I felt very badly about that as I took this job very seriously. It is a large company, however there must be a way to break HR into groups so that you feel as though you have someone to go to for advice or HR needs or questions.

Pros

Usually have a lot of free time during the day on weekdays. Workshops for on the job training. Room for growth. Competitive pay and possibility to make more if willing for study and become a RBT, BCaBA, BCBA or enter management. There is always ways to expand on your knowledge. 401K and health insurance offered. You build your own schedule.

Cons

Hours are mainly available in the weekday evenings and weekends. No paid sick or vacation time. All mileage cost are on you. The work can be stressful. You have to be willing to handle aggressive children at times and interact will with families/supervisors.
