Pros

Not being Unemployed & Homeless. ( getting a paycheck).

Cons

There is an increasing Trend now in Engineering ( June 2022 ), where Employees that are *supposed to* be on Vacation are increasingly checking in on Conference Calls, Slack Messages, Emails, Reports, DURING THEIR TIME OFF/ SCHEDULED VACATION. The whole Point of Vacation Time is to DISCONNECT from the ALWAYS ON, BURNOUT Culture that is being fostered by Leadership at Verizon. Don’t be Fooled, it is becoming all about the Metrics, Reports and 100 MPH+ Productivity - without Regard or Respect for Employees Vacation Time or Personal Time Away.
