Once it was a great, energetic place to work with lots of opportunity to explore and learn.

Cons

After 2 purchases and a near 100% change in management, now you are just a number. What have you done for us today? They do not promote from within and keep talking about communication and collaboration and transparency, but actually practice none of it. Secrets everywhere with no clear communication or direction. All new managers are "Senior" this and "Director" that and every one of them is trying to carve out their own little fiefdom.

Used to work with high quality and passionate people during the first few years with the company, learned a lot from them - in the past.

Cons

Bain's 100% takeover has completely changed the culture and DNA of the company. From the executive team through upper management to sales, support, and consulting so much talent has either moved on or has been let go as a cost cutting measure. What is a technology company without knowledgeable, passionate, and industry-specific people? Too often, people find themselves in the new culture of looking over their shoulders for fear of being downsized.

Great offices and amenities. Used to really be a fun place to work

Cons

New management out of touch with employees. Way too much pressure to protect your job. private equity ownership breeds distrust and loss of the great culture that was there when I started. Managers rarely available to discuss challenges and resolve issues. Never had any budget to market the product properly and the whole marketing department was driven by Vanity metrics. Products have stagnated and they have lost the trust of a lot of their customers due to promising and rarely if ever delivering on new features in the software.
