Pros

Over the last few years, the company had been VERY sales driven, so much so, that it really damaged the functionality of the company internally. Rob Painter, the CEO of our CEO (Trimble) is the best thing that could've happened to us, and is insistent on improving things. He is very motivated to form a culture of progress and employee satisfaction. Also, I feel we responded to Covid intelligently and effectively.

Cons

1. PS, Sales, and Support teams have not adopted a mantra of employee retention or workplace fulfillment, leading to low morale, low shared knowledge, and high employee attrition.... though I haven't seen evidence of this since Covid. 2. Lots of legacy tools and solutions that were never properly documented or maintained, leads to a lot of deferment on emerging issues, which float downstream unmanaged until they get to one of the few people that care about problem solving.

Pros

Decent benefits, progressive style management culture, doughnuts, beer and fruit.

Cons

They have eliminated a handful of positions within the last year. Corporate bonus plan is dependent on new logo sales bookings. If revenue is higher than prior year, still get docked on bonus target for no new logo sales bookings. We depend on a new logo sales team that are on a completely different bonus program to leverage our corporate bonus plan. CFO instills fear in meetings about job security. Not a good song to sing, especially in the construction industry. Also not a good way to motivate your teams.
