Don't Work Here

Pros

The CEO has the best morals/values and really tries to instill them in his leadership team. Not everyone carries out his practices and are directly affected by poor practices of other managers. No other pros

Cons

-- Claims to have amazing "culture", when really management plays favorites and its not a healthy environment at all. -- Managers act untouchable & will take credit for your new ideas without hesitation. -- Claim there is an "open door" policy, but when you bring concerns to your manager they won't do anything about it and tell you "that's just how it is". -- No work-life balance -- Terrible cross-departmental communication

Unhealthy work-life balance

Pros

Positive culture, family owned, friendly co-workers and the senior management cares about your development. CrossFit gym. Occasion fun outings planned by office

Cons

If you want a work life balance beware. High pressure to work on days off, revolving door, hardly anyone stays longer than a year or 2. Most of the reviews on here are from employees who've been at company less than a year. Long and unnecessary drawn out "Ra Ra" meetings to try to counteract the long hours you will be putting in. Many 12-16 hour work days. Also the parking is a daily battle

Pros

I started at the company during the pandemic(2020) as a door-to-door sales person with no previous sales experience. Leadership of that department was excellent and gave me so much guidance and support that I progressed to a Team Lead, training others and successfully remaining at the top of the "leaderboard" consistently. After 2.5 years in that role, I was was seeking a change to work in a less physically demanding role and was promoted to a Project Coordinator. This role was mostly remote (one day a week in office) and oversaw the scheduling and overall progression of projects from the point of sale until it's production. I was in that role for about 1.8 years. Overall, I had strong and caring management who took personal investment in my success and made me feel as a highly valued member of my team, in both roles.

Cons

While seasonal work can be incredible (winters off basically) it can also be very stressful and highly demanding. Vivax is all about gold-standard customer service. If that is not for you or you are not capable of providing high-level customer service for extended periods of time, you might not be the best fit for the company.
