      Sad day when you love your job and learn your call center is closing

      Pros

      Love the call center reps - you work hard and put up with some tough customers. Your a great team of people and it's sad to learn we will never be a team again.

      Cons

      We were told this week our call center is closing. It shocked and hurt 125 employees in a very small town. We are so busy some of us are working OT everyday, until this week when the closing was released. Now that they've routed our calls to AZ, the phones stopped ringing. If we are going to stay open for another 3 months, how are we going to do our jobs when the phones stopped ringing.

      Pros

      Good place for unskilled individuals to make decent money compared to other call centers. Sounds good at first - co-workers really talked up the manager, sounded all positive. Some mid-level management looked like they knew what they were doing.

      Cons

      Listening to complaints all day long from customers very mind deadening. Training wasn't much value when placed in the role after 3 weeks. Sink or swim factor at play, no time to request help and nobody available to provide assistance. Cliques among co-workers ( longer term employees very unfriendly and stand-offish, all about the potlucks and such all day long)

      I would not send my worst enemy to work for this company!

      Cons

      Stress, stress, stress! You give them 110% and they want more, more, more! They will fire you after you give them many years of service! Then turn around and give you un-employment benefits then take it away making you pay all of it back. THEY SUCK!!!! They will take the measures all the way to court and even go to the extent of lying under oath about the employee.
