Pros

Working at the Contact Center for WSECU, leadership truly took care of its employees. Not that we didn't run into problems, but the Managers were there to listen, guide, and help when we did. I worked there for a few years, from 2014 - 2016 (That option wasn't available above.)

Cons

We were tied to our desks, but that's the nature of the job.

Pros

Most leadership is great! Gary, the CEO is a gem. Lots of people want to do great things.

Cons

People in power have lost their mission; members first, people second, organization third. Compensation is going downhill... we rest on our "great benefits" laurels too much. This year, job titles got salary adjustments to be competitive, and despite where individuals were before the adjustment, they were put to the MINIMUM after the adjustment (if their current pay was below the minimum). Senior Leadership forgets that people work really hard to penetrate further into salary ranges, and lose all that hard work with range adjustments. Bottom line, if you want to get paid fairly and be taken care of when compensation changes, this isn't the place for you.

We appreciate this feedback. It sounds like you’ve worked at WSECU for some time, so thank you for your tenure and dedication to member service. It’s terrific to read that overall you think that the credit union and our leadership are great. We’re sorry to hear you’re not happy with your compensation package. We are committed to providing employees a competitive and comprehensive pay, benefits and incentive package. In building this, we take into account market trends, detailed peer data and guidance from external compensation partners. It’s an area that we know is especially important for attracting and retaining talent. Thanks for being a champion for our members. We absolutely agree that they are our first and most important priority.
