Technology is proprietary Core product is maintained by product group you should expect consuming core product patches. More than 5 years developer doesn’t know majority of critical domain knowledge due to this too many questions should be ask in core developers forum Too many meetings almost half or more than half of your day attending meeting that is on a daily basis. You should be asking too many questions especially on domain knowledge, Colleagues, tech lead are not pro active in giving training l, sharing knowledge on what must have to learn in lacking of domain knowledge. Onboarding training are outdated especially in domain knowledge compare to the actual tasks I would say position politics exists. Especially if you entered the team as Lead you would hear backstabbing you or you wouldn’t receive support from colleagues in order for you to be successful in your role.
