Pros

Love working with Wasatch because they look at what is best for their employees. As long as you are motivated to do your best, you will be one of the best. Working with Wasatch is different than any other property management because we see people and treat people like humans and not just a number like how others are. We really do look out for the residents and anyone who comes into our doors and always in the back of our mind, tell ourselves that we are helping people find a home. It's rewarding too knowing people see and appreciate that you helped them. If you love people and helping people. This is the job!

Cons

Pay is a bit lower.

Thank you for your review! We truly do have an incredible opportunity; helping people find a home, building employee careers, supporting vendor relationships, supporting our community, and so much more. Thank you for your 5-7 years with Wasatch! Sincerely, The Talent Management Team

Pros

My manager is great and they really care about employees but above that upper management could care less about employees.

Cons

Upper management won't give out raises! Managers down to leasing agents never get raises, unless of course your quit then they'll offer you a .50 raise. Healthcare is expensive. There are no options for mental health. Being in customer service you can get pretty beat up when it comes to residents. 401k match is such a joke! Every year it goes down for employment match.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear you think highly of your manager. We would like address specific comments in this review. Our Community Managers are empowered to initiate wage increases. Our HR team will not turn down a reasonable wage increase request. We have a competitivly priced comprehensive benefits package. Mental Health is a benefit included in the package which has several services available at no charge to our employees. Wasatch provides 50% match up to 4% on our 401K program and has remained that way for many years. We encourage you to use the open door policy to talk through any of your concerns. We are here for you and our teams. Sincerely, The Talent Development Team

Pros

Properties are beautiful and you’re always able to reach out to other coworkers for guidance. Jarome is a great leader.

Cons

Very low wages for the amount of work you are expected to put in. Expect to make $10K less than other management companies. Senior Management has dollar bills in their eyes and have lost Dell Loy’s vision. They expect you to keep things hush hush so Dell Loy never hears the bad things happening. Poor rollouts on new programs and no one in upper management understands how to use the programs. Good luck figuring it out yourself. Sad to see things fall apart after all these years. Think they’re getting to big for their own britches.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear you are afraid to share this with your supervisor. We want to talk more with you. Managing a community is not an easy thing to do; there are so many moving parts. It is critical that leadership listens and supports our teams while providing resources and guidance for ways to continue to be successful. We appreciate you acknowledging that Jarom is a great leader. He is a leader who embodies Dell Loy's vision. As a growing company, nearly doubling in size over the past 5 years, we understand there has been a lot of changes. Changes that have had some growing pains. Our focus has been on our people and will remain our people. You and your feedback matters to us. We would appreciate the opportunity to talk with you about your concerns. Please, call me directly at either my office or my cell which is available to all our team members. We can also agree to keep our conversation confidential. We really want you to feel heard and valued. Jarom is looking forward to your feedback and our conversation, soon. Sincerely, Rikki Hemsley Director of Talent Development
