Salary & total comp - the base salaries are very low relative to the market. Even with bonuses, total comp is definitely in the bottom half. It starts to feel like the fast pace and the high expectations aren't really worth it
Benefits - for being in the healthcare space, Waystar has very expensive health insurance compared to everywhere else I've worked
Lack of opportunity to move up - there is no framework for promotions so growth really comes down to the whims of leadership. Promotions are very few and far between for almost everyone I worked with.
Prioritization is scattered - cross-functional leadership is never aligned on priorities, and certain teams and departments seem to genuinely not know what they're doing.
