Great pay and flexibility. Work is work, but demands and timeline are reasonable. Solid growing company. Unwavering mission in healthcare.

Sometimes hard to get things done across different teams/applications.

Great company but slow promotion potential

Pros

Great benefits and holiday schedule. Work from home positions available. CEO is high energy and motivating.

Cons

The company continues to grow, but with continuous acquisitions many jobs become redundant which will slow career growth. If you are not a "legacy" Waystar employee, you have very little chance of career growth. ELT is very big on great core values, but unfortunately as you get below that level the day-to-day leadership is less excited about those values. They are a great company to work for if you are looking for a paycheck with flexibility for family life. But negotiate a good starting salary and do not expect that to climb much.

Pros

Most dev teams fully remote. Get the sense leadership cares. Leadership usually willing to listen if you want to try something different. Good perks for continuing education, family leave. Lots of long-term team members which is rare in this industry. Consistent about keeping workloads at 40 hrs / week, no "death march" culture.

Cons

Salary not competitive, lost team members who got better offers at other shops.
