Absolutely love WCW! Great balance and flexibility, encourage home work since COVID

Pros

I am so happy with WCW, they have been extremely flexible with work/life balance since COVID. I have been working from home and the flexibility is great, I can run some errands in the morning and grab a cup of coffee before work. They are very understanding and I have my 3 year old daughter at home as well so it is joyful working at home. They encourage getting your home office set up best so we can work with minimal distraction and get the work done! It’s been nice to relax at our Friday afternoon happy-half-hour and get some socializing in behind the webcam. I have room to grow and get a more rigid schedule that would help me out and maybe get an early start. Thankfully with WCW, I can make up the hours over the weekend if necessary.

Not really any Cons I can think of.

Pros

Coworkers: knowledgeable, talented, reliable. Good folks all around. Management: dedicated, very decent. Supported me through some tough times. This is a good place to learn more tools and skills.

Cons

Codebase is based on large, complex to maintain, complex to improve, open source product. Learning curves were very long.

Fast paced environment with great people to work with. The CEO is very passionate and cares about his employees! A lot of room to grow, and learn, and great support to be your best self Cool industry!

Cons

Could also be looked at as a positive: small company, wear a lot of hats (not literally. Take on more responsibility than a bigger company)
