Pros

Fun people and light hearted attitudes

Cons

I left the company feeling used and lied to. Its a sales position though they insisted it wasnt at the begining. I was repeatedly told that i needed to "pay for my seat" with sales. The managers were exeedingly lazy with a few exeptions. It really sucks to work very hard and still be threatened with pips by managers who mostly just play ping pong and mess around with other managers. The pay is not at all worth the frustration in my mind. No opportunity to grow. It is a dead end job. Probably a unique problem to me: I was used for some special projects which i gladly did thinking it would somehow benifit me but really i was juat giving up my metrics bonus

Pros

Great atmosphere, great people. The message we are trying to send it that we are doing what is best for the customer, and 85% of the time I feel like we do hit that goal. Hours are great, lunch is catered everyday. No dress code. People that work here are having fun 90% of the day.

Cons

Can seem very chaotic at times with almost no sense of direction. Each manager seems to be working on their own project and submitting results to the corporate office to see if it makes enough money for the company to keep the program going. Call centers have been around for 50 years, I understand you want it to be the "Weebly" way but no need to ignore mounds of data that already exists. Base pay is lower than industry average, even with the current bonus/commission structure Weebly is $10k-$15k behind other companies less than 10 miles away in the same industry. This is the first tech company I have come across that does not offer 100% of the benefits paid for. It makes it near impossible to refer a friend when I know they could apply at a competitor and start out making more money and better benefits. We preach we are looking for the best people/people that fit our culture/people who value people more than money but it feels like a one way street. The pay is 32% less than industry average. It can be frustrating at times to have high hopes for a great bonus/commission check at times when you realize we have three products to sell.

Pros

Most of the people are great. Ping pong is a blast. Catered food everyday. You get to make up time whenever you want. They have a "schedule" but there are a few people who make up time on the weekends every week and don't have to use PTO.

Cons

Weebly Scottsdale can be really great, but it's held back by "leadership". The team leads never work. They are never around and their people never improve. Most of the time they play ping pong and talk all day. They don't think that their employees are their responsibilities. They are incompetent and we're promoted because they sucked up to the right people, the two former managers who almost ran that place into the ground. They keep promoting people who have no business leading anyone. Also you can take a smoke break every 30 minutes if you want. They are so lenient over there. I am not a smoker and think this is incredibly unfair. I know they don't want to be police but some people take real advantage. I would like a break every 30 minutes, but because I don't smoke I don't get one. On the other hand, I do know there are a couple of guys who work very hard, but they aren't recognized for it. Everyone in the office leans on them and they get nothing in return.
