Pros

The training was sub par - it failed to cover day to day work flows and focused more on the company culture and history of cannabis.

Cons

-Micromanaging to the greatest degree. -Insecure and tyrant middle management - they bring in leaders from bogus companies like Career Builders, who have no idea how to even operate Salesforce correctly. -The company constantly changes their pricing for their services (the clients refer to them as GreedMaps for reasons I hope you never experience) -They use a very outdated, legacy real-estate type of business model - the majority of legitimate marketing companies migrated to CPC years ago.. -Complete disregard for small business owners - they will straight up ask you to nickel and dime (I'd go as far as even rob) smaller businesses and force them to compete with large brands, pushing them into financial turmoil. (I expressed numerous time the financial states that their Mom & Pop clients were experiencing in this bear market. Leadership's response is to sell them additional software products that work 50% of the time, ultimately causing greater set backs for their clients. -Software is trash (specifically API and POS integrations) they are basically a marketing company trying to pose as a Saas company with zero UX development -Unpredictable layoffs - 10% at the end of 2022 with no notice - As soon as the market took a down turn in July 2022 their response was raising prices by 60% for both their new and existing clients. -Poor SOW's and workflows across the entire company. -Everyone who works their is miserable and it stems from leadership. -They are the epitome of a greedy, money-eating machine and contribute to the untrustworthy reputation of the cannabis industry (ironically transparency is written in their mission statement, which is the complete opposite of everything you will experience while working here. -At the end of the day..(you will hear this phrase three times a day in every meeting with a leader) the company has a complete disregard for conducting ethical business with both their employees and clients. Steer away from this sinking ship.

Pros

1. The cannabis industry is interesting, ever changing, and challenging. 2. One Friday off per month perk 3. Decent benefits package 4. Talented rank and file, great people to work with.

Cons

Absolutely unorganized, short sighted, deeply inexperienced Sr. Leadership and dysfunctional C-Suite. Turnover is extremely high and there are zero consistent documentation practices. Constantly dropping initiatives and projects, months of work to pick them back up and redo research, analysis, etc etc. Everything is a priority and nothing is a priority. There is just no prioritization, for example it's mid quarter and there is still no prioritization plan shared with the employees. Leaders do not communicate, no transparency or guidance on company direction. No shared goals. Very silo'd, every body working on their own thing without engaging other teams. Poorly planned and executed re-orgs at least once a year, often suffering the consequences long after the fact. Weirdly petty leaders, you may honestly lose your job because you work for someone the big boss doesn't like. 0 / Zero career development opportunities and very limited upward mobility. If you want to grow your career, this is not the place to do it. No annual raises, frequently changing bonus structure. Requests for raises have to be reviewed personally by C-Suite. They will fight tooth and nail to make sure employees get low performance ratings to avoid bonus payout. Cost of living will definitely outpace your salary. No consistent performance tracking or very individual tracking depending on role/department. Goal posts move a lot. Big tech defecit, flimsy operations, and all the rest ensures little to no stability. Benefits specific, their 401K match and RSU managed through a small firm that rarely responds, very literally infosec and IT staff refused to sign up until they fixed their insecure website. If you don't mind being under a lot of stress and just need the paycheck, go for it. But plan for a short stint.
