Pros

Great, if you want to work at Westinghouse so that people will tell you that they have a Westinghouse LCD TV and that their mom's Westinghouse washing machine has been working since they were born. You want to be part of a legacy in a has-been company with has-been reactors that nobody wants to buy since 2007, 9 years ago. You want to be part of a pipe dream perpetuated by the DOE, NRC, politicians, and interested parties but without customer support.

Cons

ZERO respect for people. Will suck you dry for years with no raise, destroy your family life, and put you into divorce court so that you are working for them to pay child support and *maybe* seeing your kids on the weekends when you aren't working your extra 40+15 hours per week with the OT for free, no pay.

Pros

Westinghouse recently acquired CB&I. No pros. This use to be a great company. Current leaders are running it down to the ground.

Cons

The Good Ole Boy network strives with WEC and continues to cost the company big $$$. It is only a matter of time when the clients at Vogtle and VCSummer will say enough is enough and end both contracts. I heard WEC had to take out loans to pay their people. I wouldnt work for this company. Danny Roderick will say amazing things and then turn around and chop your head off. You can work for them but be prepared to find another job in 2017.

Pros

The benefits and vacation are decent. The people I work with are mostly okay.

Cons

Management of this company is terrible. Right now everything is about money and trying to cut expenses. Everyone is nervous that they'll be the next to be laid off. There is no focus on professional development, overtime with no pay is expected, very little to no growth opportunities unless you know someone. Also, work life balance is terrible due to the expectation that you'll work overtime and odd shifts.
