Pros

The employees are some of the most dedicated and intelligent people i have ever worked with. there was a great cutlure of solving problems and getting stuff done in the trenches of TRC and CS and even development. Very rarely do you hear "Thats not my job" when instead you often hear "hmm, what about if we try ...." and people jumping in to solve problems.

Cons

The pay is terrible and management ignores and belittles complaints. Loyalty is entirely one way from employees to managers and rarely does the mangagment structure reward loyalty and honesty by their employees

Good place to start a career, but no long term growth.

Pros

A lot of room for individual career growth. People willing to train you in any different department, opportunities to change career path and explore options. Great PTO policy, and flexibility with work hours/location. Central location, people commute in from all over the place. This is a great company to start your career. The people are genuinely interested in sharing their knowledge. There’s so much turnover that it’s easy to move in to management if you are smart and proactive.

Cons

#1 -Stagnant company growth. They’re not failing by any means, but they’re also no longer innovators and leaders in the industry. When I was hired they used to brag about how fast they were growing, how they had to hire to keep up with demand. They used to even share a chart on company growth during orientation. Not anymore, because there’s almost no impressive growth to speak of. They keep saying “We’re reorganizing, changing the way we do things, streamlining” but the impression is more fumbling along. #2 –Embarrassingly low pay. Not even remotely competitive. Please, please do your research on competitive salary for you job and never accept a verbal promise on salary. Always get it in writing.

A good place to learn...and leave

Pros

- Plenty of room to learn and grow and acquire industry experience - Good location and competitive benefits - Some genuinely good staff to work with and learn from, and great wealth of experience to benefit from

Cons

- Senior Management has no idea what they are doing ; they say what they need to make the board happy, and ultimately they just want to sell the company and run - And related to that point, the company is awash with Senior Managers and Directors who get inexplicable promotions for no discernable reason; management always finds a way to fail upwards - The CEO brought in all his old colleagues from TIBCO, and they brought with them old rivalries and conflicts, now combined with a lack of understanding of the business. Some departments are vipers nests of contention and not fun to be around. - HR is more concerned with looking great than being great; you can spot some obviously suspicious reviews from their 'Culture Club' here which to try and pave over the reality of how things really are (nit-witts?). Also, never a good sign that HR is tasking staff to pump in positive GlassDoor reviews (5 stars, really?)
